I've had this car for 3 decades. It's one of 2600 made. Original engine/4speed and a ragtop to boot. All factory except the paint/headers and whatnot.
Had it in the barn for a long time, and that was a stupid thing to do.
I heard of place in Chatham that does body off restores, but anybody know some guys/shops that would tackle it ? Must be reasonable price, cause I will get lots of quotes before I make a decision.
Was a super nice car, before it got hucked in barn.
Just not sure if I wanna drop the money or just sell her.
Last year for chrome bumpers and a 4 gear ragger,as much as I hate Corvettes ,this one is
collectible Jarvis....

They are another not in demand car. You would spend more money on having it restored than it is worth.
Chris, guessing 73 was the 1st year with the rubber front bumper and it was the last year of rear chrome ones also, maybe. I have had 2 vettes with the last one being a #78 anniversary which i did a body off and if I hadn't of got it stupid cheap-cheap out of a tow impound, I wouldn't of broke even. That was the late 80's.
Brad I would guess you are going to have as much at minimum doing a body off in todays world bud than it's worth. If it is a verifiable 1 of 2600 made with a big block in it, you have a decision to make, my thinking. If it t'was me and it was time for it to go I would get it out and get it running smoothly with no other obvious power train issues, verify the numbers and then it is a decision to make if it or isn't 1 of 2600. It is 1 year over almost being a desirable car, sort of thing, maybe. 72 was the last year with any h/p making them 1/2 assed desirable but the biggest money is in the late 60's big blocks. Good luck whatever way it comes up bud.
