With-out getting into the Politics of it all......

......it looks like we're going to the re-set they thought was coming awhile back. Could be a rough ride for some - if not most on both sides of the border. Better increase the garden footprint this spring.

I think we can live without many 'murican products.

I can live without many of the "murican" stuff but many of our neighbor's will be out of work, and that's the tough part. 3/4's of everything we produce in this country goes there and it takes a lot of people to produce that much. I am not so sure it is a re-set as much as it is a realignment, truthfully. Yes it will have effects on both sides of the border but we are the side that will get the the kick in the nuts, pretty much. The currant leadership down there might of done us a blessing or screwed us. We are a resource nation with no, sad to say, means of protecting it or getting it to the rest of the world.

If I can't buy the part, I'll make it & if I can't make it, somebody might have one spare to sell and if nobody has one, I'll be patient until I find one. I'll just build other stuff until then.

This is what happens when all the candidates are from the bottom of the gene pool.

I wouldn't have thought it but this was all planed . A car guy I know was telling me about Gov troubles with Canada when he was at my house on the civic holiday weekend last August . He mentioned other things and the Trump was going to save the world . Months later things happen like he said . Somewhere he must have had inside info . Let's hope things move back to a more normal relationship .

We have a shared border, my question is what are they doing about
what they consider there problem with us. When they stop the guns
coming up I will believe the border is the issue. Given recent rantings
I don't really think he wants any more borders at all. We need to be
more watchful of our sovereignty especially the Arctic as he is very prone
to calling things an emergency and acting on that basis. We boomers
were a lucky generation . Most of us had parents and grandparents
that had to fight wars to be able to hand us a wonderful country and
lifestyle. Some of us had kids who went to deserts in our name. The
least us old farts who benefited can do is read a few labels and speak
up in support of our country. Just a thought. Ed
