This is a very unsettling story, there's a lot of things that just simply don't make any sense. I'm thinking along the same lines as Dave on this one, it almost looks like Millard is being framed, and Tim is just an unfortunate victim.
Either way, it's a very tragic/senseless story. I simply can't express how bad I feel for the wife and little girl...

Just watchedthe news. Tim was heavy into the church and community, he was heavy into his dutch community as well..had hisfarm. This wasn't a man into anything shady..he was a victim of some people who had bad intentions from the minutes they inquired about his truck. Period..

Until we find out info from mullards friends or people who were involved or police release more info which they probably won't do unfilled they make more arrests...it's a mystery really..

If this was the u.so. Wed know a ****load about all right now...

I normally dont comment on crap like this but this hole thing just stinks. not saying that criminals are the brightest lot but come on may as well left a trail of bread crumbs. From where I sit this isn't the work of someone thats never been arrested or at least known of by the cops. I dont think you can hide sick enough to roast someone.

Stuff like this happens everyday. But if we only care when it happens to the shinny white Christians and shrug our shoulders when it happens to the less lovable members of society its bound to repeat itself. If you drop the drama its all the same . No matter what the story is Tim Bosma or any one els dosent deserve an end like this

The plot thickens.....
kijiji says that no one answered Bosma's ad for his truck.
It leads me to think Millard knew Bosma somehow.
Looks like a hired hit to me.

How would Kijiji know this? The only way they would, is if the add would've been "Email" only, if his phone number was in the add, Kijiji would have no way of knowing whether or not someone called him.
Either way, it's not Kijiji's fault, so I don't think they need to defend themselves.

There is a lot to this story, we can speculate to no end, as to who, what, where, when etc..., it won't change the outcome.
Everyone has a different twist as to what they think happened and why, the bottom line is someone died, over some stupidity.

They need to find mullards partners. And hope 1 talks, if none of them talk, then a real mess.
Cops can't put the crime together really if no one talks,speculate all they want. Police have charged mullards. He says innocent..police have to prove,accomplice for sure.
He was burnt..no evidence there, was he shot before that. , okay. Where's the gun, who's was it..this case is a can of worms

Kijiji have an anti spam filter for phone calls. You need to click on the link to reveal the full number, so this is probably how they know the ad was not answered. This would also point to the fact that someone already knew his number.

However, what's the deal with the incident the previous day, where Millard alledgedly went on another test drive in a similar truck?

I can't stop thinking about this, it's driving me mad.

Another more sinister theory of mine is, what if Millard was being initiated into some weird group, and his "mission" was to find and kill a random stranger, selected by a series of colour/make/year/vehicle.... To me that's the only explanation for the previous day's incident, but he opted out of that guy as apparently he was a huge man and would have put up too much of a fight.

I really hope they find Millards DNA on Bosma's truck, so he might loosen his lips and start talking. Bosma's wife and family need to know why their loved one was taken so easily.

They can find dna. But that say he killed Tim. They know there was atleast 3 people, lawyers gonna point to other defendants,,he said. She said.. It works. Lesser charges. Maybe some walk...1 of them has to sing or this case is weak. Although mullardbcharged. He may not be ring leader. Might be so much more to this case. Maybe more victims and crimes we don't know about,,,we might not ever know true story

So. 2guys walk up ur driveway on a rural could try road at 9.20 at night.
I'm assuming they made prior arrangements via phone to get address and directions,so they are expected, right.
I'm assuming they went to door. Knock knock..
I'm also assuming Mrs bosma met the guys because some one told cops about the ambition tatoo. Right.???? I assume Mrs bosma was able to give decent discriptions
So we they look the truck over and ask for test drive...
Didn't the bosmas wonder as to how they got there, what possible excuse could they have said.
When test drive started, did they pull a gun, did time see their suv when pulling out of his drive.
They headed out towards Brantford cause they were seen on tape with suv close behind.they dumped time cell there.
I'm assuming through Brantford to mullards cambridge farm..police suspect Tim was killed that night. Did they set him on fire same night....must have made for a long night..
Ok. Now Mrs bosma knows something wrong. Tim not come home. Can't get about,do of him.
I'm sure by this time time already thought Brantford and almost to cambridge. ,
Did the bad guys already decide they gotta be killed, or was tim a dead man from the get go..
So they release that 1 of suspects has ambition tatoo, un common I'm sure, and before you know it. Hamilton. They arrest mullards. ,so some 1 tipped cops, he remains silent, his right..
Hunt goes on for Tim and his truck, they find the truck at mom's place, however it get there,driven??? Trailored. , who put there.
They search properties owned by mullards family,, they find charred remains of tim.
So more or less. That's where your at right now,,,
Until they find other people involved. Who's willing to sing. , this case is doomed...
Keep in mind police know alot more then their saying...for all we know mullards mom could've been the 1 to tell cops about sons tatoo,,time wife I'm sure gave others description. They know from cell records who mullards talked to,,from friends who he hung out with...where he hung out,,
Mullards was into fast cars and they showed pics of him pulling engines, ,. So chances are friends are into same hobby,,,,

Thats just it Slim. it doesnt happen every day in our part of the world anyway..this story has gripped us all . Stories like this bring people together. maybe couples will.make sure to gove thst peck on the cheek a littleore often...it would be horrible if 1 of us went to corner store and never came hom.

Slim ... do you remember the story about the little black guy got shot by a neighbourhood watch guy in florida last year an all the head lines it made . Cause it was such a terrible incident ??
I have an internet buddy from Detroit who made a comment about that situation on another forum I go on . People were talking about it on one forum , and he came on an said , in Detroit . I think it was like 11 teens all black had been killed in inner city B S over the last 6 months . But the ONLY death , that made it into the news in any way was the kid who,s Mother was the head of the choir in some big church in Detroit . Other then that no one woulda even heard or known that young guys name , or that he,d been killed .
In Detroit , young people both guys an girls , getting killed by gang B S doesn,t even make the news . Its just numbers at the end of the year in city business reports .
Sadly , this just goes to show how stupid people can be , or how far they will go to make a buck .
If it was vehicle theft . you reply to an ad , tell the guy you like it , you are bringing cash , and there,s the vehicle , running , keys , ownership , all u gotta do is get rid of the owner . But murder is quite a step up from car theft . and done so sloppily , probably a first attempt at a new way of car theft .
And if they wanted the truck that badly , its ancaster /Brantford area . they coulda just went over to the reserve an hired some body to steal it .
NOTE I have 2 friends that are Indians , and its known that a buncha cars go missing and are found on the reserve every year ..77.

I don't have any insider info on this story, but I sure get the feeling that there is more to the story than a stolen truck - gone wrong. I smell a rat. Maybe there was much more going on behind the scenes that will eventually come to light - or not. It could take years to unravel the full plot or may never be solved. I think that they should send 'Jack Bauer' in to "speak" with the individual in custody to find out more info in a timely manor....but I almost forgot, this is Canada. :(

You know what . The system is broken and has been for a long time. Maybe Id agree with you If the cops and the judges that screw up get the same treatment. Its not uncommon for someone to sit in jail for one or two years dead time waiting for trail on someones word that they did something and nothing els Your freedom is a lot more fragile then you are lead to believe and you wont see it in the papers when they have totally destroyed someones life because they were to lazy to do their job . Buy the way Death is a much better choice then spending 20 or 30 years locked up.

Like that guy that claimed he was crazy an killed the guy on the bus , out west then cut his haed off . remember him , welp , the powers that be have decided that after two yrs , that's right , two WHOLE yrs in a mental hospital . Now he is ready for semi supervised day an multi day trips out side the facility , and if he does ok at that , then he will be allowed UN supervised trips .
Now get ready for the BEST part . because he was charged under the mental health act , and not criminal charges . he has NO criminal record , and because its mental health cops an border people cant search his records , an he will be allowed world wide travel no problems at all .
Amazing isn't it , you stab a guy to death , cut his head off an put it on the seat between yourself an the body , and have no criminal record , but my friend jake has trouble crossing the border cause in the summer of 78 he slapped open handed a off duty barrie cop cause he called his mother a whore , cause she told him to do his job ..77.

Why do you think he would buy that farm? He didn't use it as a farm.
