No more neutral starts !

"Spark plugs in the top ?  Must be a Flathead ????"

I think this was the nicest track I ever ran. Very nice pits etc. While waiting to stage if you looked left at the tower you felt like a kid at Disneyland, it sure was purdy at night.

 RIP,  OCIR

Great pics!! Notice the square cut out of the grill in the Racing Head Service 55? Lots were like it, made for easier cam changes without pulling all the rest off.
Best pic i've seen of Bob Park!
In the nuetral start pic, lying there with the broken debris what is the thing that appears to a mate to the grill?

I looked at the pic over and over again, then I noticed it's a reflection of the cars grille in the trans oil that is laying on the track.

Sweet cars!! Great history in John Barleys car, i think it has been restored.

That car opened some eyes when it ran Marv Ripes Little Opel converter, the beginnings in many ways of Hi Stall converters.

The trailer with the blue and white Fords on it, I saw a Cougar at Motion or one of the indoor Toronto shows around 12 years ago. The company bought a couple of each and did some crazy performance rebuilds on them and painted them in the color scheme you see. The owner of the Cougar told me that there were only two Cougars rebuilt and from what I remember it sits in his garage in Innisfil, the mileage is next to none! Never drives it or shows it other then that one indoor show. I've been wrong before if someone knows different.

I Believe from reading here, that this car is not authentic, it caused quite a stir when these pics were posted stating it had been found in Nebraska.?

In 1979 I got to hear one of these 427 engines in the Old Reliable car of Strickler and Jenkins.   It was one tough sounding machine.

Neat cars with "Aluminum" bumpers, hood and fenders etc.
