Yep after over 15 + yrs I finally get to install a 4 sp OD tranny in my '46 1 ton. Its the MY6 option that was available on '81-86' chevy trucks...the A833 tranny. Trucks on the hoist ( its 11 pm sat night) and the saggy 4 sp gets shelved tomorrow (July1) !

After four years starting with nothing but a rough body shell, I finally took it out today for its first drive. (On a gravel road for the first 1/2 mile) Still have the plate C clamped in place but I'll fix that and hope to get many miles of enjoyment.
Finally. 7 years after I built the engine, bought all the goodies, bought a house, had a kid, lost my job at gm, got a better job at opg. I finally had time to get it running!
