Working on this T-Bucket build and the original lay out was for the straight up steering with the reverse saganaw box that came with it. I am converting it over to a standard column and now I need a steering box that will work. Going to have to mount it right up tight to the firewall to clear everything.

When I look at the instructions it is all very normal stuff, clean first, light coats of paint, etc. It then says to cure it at 300 degrees for 2-3 hours. I have a 700r4 out of a 1989 s10 4.3l. The truck had 24xxxx kms on it when the bottom end went. The transmission worked when removed but I personally would have it rebuilt.
