So I had the newly aquired '90 chevy ck 1500 4x4 on the hoist changing over the 4x4 actuator when I noticed a flash. Here there was a large wire from the battery sparking on an exhaust shield. It was burnt almost all the way through and with no fuse blown. Luckily I caught it before I was stranded somewhere...

A buddy asked me to help him find a used enclosed aluminum car hauler. White is preferred with an escape door. Has to look good and be in really good shape. No dings or rust (frame). Has to fit a 67 Malibu so I'm thinking 7' X 16 or 18' rannge. Set up for hauling cars would be good. Thanks

so how are you suppost to grease a u-joint when the yokes are so close that you can't get the grease gun on the nipple?The opening is only about 5/16 wide. In the past I have ground a small groove on the yokes and managed to get the gun on but not this time.
going to check my chevy 5.7L. ...so after removing the plugs and high tension lead and connect the tester on a warmed engine, open the tbi ..when you crank the engine over would't the tbi be shooting fuel into the engine? Never done a compression test on a tbi before.
