Not looking to spend big money... just looking for a decent engine...

I'm trying to figure out how you guys insure all your cars. Do you need seperate policies for each car, or could you maybe run a summer car, then swap the insurance over to your winter car when the weather turns nasty?
Is there such a thing as a reasonably priced engine rebuilder anymore? Got a couple prices on getting a pair of heads rebuilt and almost fell over, i didn't ask about getting the block punched out/ bottom end done. I know that 10 years ago or so it cost me 2 grand for machine work alone for a 283. Just wonde...

I'm diggin deep for some answers here. I'm planning on swapping out the 235 from my 58 Delray in favour for a 348 tri-power. The car still has the 3-in-the-tree stick and I want to keep it that way. The 348 was mated to a TH350 in an earlier life. Apart from a bellhousing, engine frame mounts and a fan shroud...
