I’m looking for a pair of magnesium wheels. Halibran, American racing. I would consider an aluminum pair. Pm me if you have something that I may be interested in. Bolt pattern not important. Thanks
Does anyone have any images of what framework goes beneath a track-T radiator shell ? Is there some kind of framework for support ? Is there bracing of any kind ? Or does the shell just bolt to the frame and / or radiator support ? Thank you.

I'm new here from Jarvis, between Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. My current ride is a 66 Charger. I used to run a 69 Barracuda in some of the ONDR events.
I managed to weld the bottom and side panels together and I think the next step is to attach the two compound curves to the side panels but that's a problem. The side panels curve inward from side to side and the compound curve panels curve inward from top to bottom with no curvature sideways. For a final...
I have an R4 compressor, bought from NAPA, still sealed in the box with clutch and bearing. I ended up doing the big o rings in mine instead so this one is for sale. Make a reasonable offer and its yours. Pick up in Pickering.
Good joke for Friday the 13th Today’s GiggleOn the farm lived a chicken and a horse, both of whom loved to play together. One day the two were playing, when the horse fell into a bog and began to sink. Scared for his life, the horse whinnied for the chicken to go get the farmer for help! Off the chicke...

I just had a shipment of 4 vintage rims arrive this morning from Manitoba. Took about a week all in all. Pretty quick. They were from a wreckers (more of a stock piler I think really) called Vavavoom Garage run by a guy named Bill Harrison. Just wanted to let all here know that Bill was a pleasure to deal...

I just found another great web site. 'Uncle Doug's Hot Rod Garage'. Perhaps you already know about it but if not, enjoy! In one episode, he shows how to deal with the throttle linkage problems associated with putting 3 Strombergs in a model 'A' and that works perfect for me at a perfect time to find it...

I just wanted to put this out there to see what everyone thinks. I usually change my own oil and for my whole life, I have used nothing but Fram oil filters and I have never had an issue. Now I understand, from youtube I think, that Fram is probably the worst filter on the market. Just wondering what everyon...
I often need to cut or bend material in a horizontal vice but the traditional style of vice doesn’t work well that way. To bulky and heavy to maneuver I think. But this vice is perfect. I hadn’t seen a vice like this since high school shop class. And it looks like that is where it came from. Anyway, I st...

Last week I went to Peterborough Automotive to get paint. The gentleman there brought out a colour sample catalogue to colour match and after about 15 minutes suggested I go to NAPA. He said they might have an exact match there. So I went and was told that the guy who did paint was on a call and I should c...

I have a 42 Ford pickup with a mount for the spare tire on the side but the holes in the rim don't line up with the holes in the mount. I thought there must be a bracket missing but the previous owner said there isn't. I don't know how to mount the spare rim and I can't find a video on youtube for a truck this old....

Initially I thought the best part of this hobby would be when I finally got my first hot rod on the road. But I was wrong. I later learned that the build was a lot more fun than expected so perhaps the road wasn't best part part. But again, I was mistaken. Then I learned that turning a wrench with the wonder...
