A few guys from the Canadian Poncho forum have joined....welcome guys, glad to have you here. It brings up a subject in my mind. Have any of you owned specific Canadian models of cars?...You know, Canadian Pontiacs, Beaumonts, Acadians, Monarchs, Meteors, Mercury or Fargo trucks, that sort of thin...
I have been getting emails all day that i had sold my car and the new owner has got it up 4 sale already and advertising a car show in June on Kijiji with itI am flattered they like the picture of my 50 Meteor, but its the point that they used it without my permission and the fact, it is still 4sale by me and not th...
Well the last topic I posted did well, so lets 'stir up the pot some more" I see quite a few "MODIFIED" or "HOT RODS" [call them what you will] at shows & cruise's with Historic plates on them. Total "violation" of what they were brought out for, & I think i...
Hi I'v been trying to finish MY 45GMC PROJECT FOR YEARS NOW, but being in the military, it seems whenever I plan to get to it next summer, I end up moving, my truck has more miles on a flat bed than most, NB to Coldlake back to NB and now ON, I hesitate to say I'm going to work on it next summer, I'm just starting...

WOW – I grew up on car magazines but now it seems that web forums are the way to go.I’m a retired MTO officer and licensed mechanic who’s been working on a very long “honey do” list ever since escaping the working world – now it’s the working-for-no-pay-but-lot’s-more-fun world. I’ve been picking a...

So this is my theory as to why all the new restrictions on old cars. The government ownes a very large part of the auto industry(bailout billions). They need to sell a lot of new cars to get paid back,if that is even part of the deal.To boost sales of new cars they have to get the older cars off the road.So the...
I used to do some woodcarving, not sure where they all are now.... These aren't mine but I thought they may be of interest, they were done by my dad. He was a commercial artist and did work for various ad agencies back in the day.
Hey everyone, I got thinking about a car my Dad owned but sold about 10 years ago. He had it forever and I have lots of childhood memories with it and I thought it would be cool to try and find it again! I'd love to buy it back and fix it up (as that's what he wanted but never had the chance) Now that I have a family...

I've got a problem! I'm building a 30's sedan and I don't want the rack sitting out in front of the grille shell. I'd like to put a rear steer rack in, but I would have to flip the spindles from side to side. see where a problem could arise? Anyone know what rodders have been doing the past 30+ years that I'm m...
